A green club on campus is a group of students and teachers who work to improve theenvironment and raise awareness of environmental issues. Green clubs can help students learnabout sustainability and develop leadership skills. A Green Campus is a place whereenvironmental friendly practices and education combine to promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices in the campus. The green campus concept offers an institution theopportunity to take the lead in redefining its environmental culture and developing newparadigms by creating sustainable solutions to environmental, social and economic needs ofthe mankind. The club helps the college to implement the green protocol in the campus.

 

  • Greenery to provide pollution free air and carbon sink
  • Establishing feeding points for bird and animals and creating shelter for them
  • A Clean campus
  • Minimise - Waste and consumption of water and energy
  • Adoption and Deployment of Environment - friendly activities
  • Impact of use of digital technology and management to reduce consumption of naturalresources - paper, gas, water, energy etc
  • To sensitize, motivate and educate students and staff about environment conservation.
  • To create awareness among society about the environment and related issues.
  • Encouraging efforts to protect and conserve biodiversity in vicinage.
  • Executing small scale projects within the campus.
  • Contributing in environment awareness and conservation drives in collaboration with regional nature clubs and institutes.
